Jessica – Founder & Lead Operations Partner

I believe business support should feel like a deep exhale, not another thing you have to manage. My work is centered around helping founders bring clarity, structure, and momentum to the behind-the-scenes parts of their business—so growth doesn’t come at the cost of burnout.

Before starting my own company, I spent over a decade at a small-but-mighty tech startup, where I did a little bit of everything (and learned a lot along the way). I supported billion-dollar clients, managed logistics and operations, built and moderated community forums, coordinated internal initiatives, contributed to investor materials, and acted as a bridge between engineers, leadership, and customers.

That experience shaped how I work today: I’m comfortable holding a lot of context, translating complexity into systems, and keeping things moving across teams and priorities.

Now, I partner with founders and small teams who are ready to stop doing everything themselves. My sweet spot is operations and strategy: from systems and workflows to delegation and decision support. I bring big-picture thinking, detail-level follow-through, and a genuine investment in the people behind the business.

When I’m not deep in client work, you can usually find me performing (I’m also an actor), spending time with my very spoiled bunny, Holly, or turning a half-formed idea into a Trello board before I’ve finished my coffee.

I'm Erica!
 

When I was working corporate jobs, I spent a lot of time tailoring my resume’s “About Me” section. Eventually, thanks to some corporate pals, I landed on: “Detail-oriented and mission-driven professional with 10+ years of multifaceted experience, known for precision in detailed tasks, collaborative work ethic, and strong communication skills.”
 

That sounds very official, sure, but it doesn’t really capture the nuance I love. (I’m an actor like Jess, and actors love when our text gives us something to work with.)


What I want to say when folks ask about my resume is: I’ve done a lot of different things over the years. I’m a fast learner, deeply detail-oriented, and genuinely invested in doing things well. I’m comfortable tackling tedious tasks, navigating customer communication, and handling the things you’d rather not think about; I know how much mental space that frees up for founders and their teams.

…you’ve hired on Eldest Daughter™. I’m the one who always did all the work in the group projects at school, and that has not changed. It means you know you have someone reliable, thorough, and proactive in your corner. I’m the person who makes sure things are handled, followed up on, and finished properly. You can trust that your work is in good hands. As a bonus, I will also provide you with many dog photos upon request (ask me about my puppy!)
